About Palm
Customer partnerships at Palm have been founder-led with support from product and engineering. We’ve been leading the charge into enterprise teams, but now it’s time to bring on our first dedicated technical hire to take us to the next level.
This role is not about “following a playbook” — it’s about writing it with us. You’ll partner directly with the founders and the engineering team to define our implementation strategy, shape onboarding best practices, and build the connective tissue between customers and product.

You’ll be working side by side with the founders, product, and engineering teams, shaping Palm’s growth and leaving your fingerprints on the company we’re building.
How will you make an impact?
- Own customer onboarding: design and run implementation workshops, create onboarding playbooks, and define success milestones.
- Ensuring customers realise the full value of Palm by delivering on the outcomes that drove their purchase.
- Implement changes directly in our infrastructure - from better LLM prompts to custom SQL queries or novel analytics reports.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers via Slack channels and recurring syncs — answering questions, sharing updates, and resolving issues.
- Lead feature launches with customers: demo new capabilities, gather real-time feedback, and drive adoption.
- Build reporting frameworks for performance of our AI & ML models (categorisation & forecast accuracy) to measure impact.
- Act as the bridge between customers and product, channeling insights directly into our roadmap.
- Develop and document repeatable implementation playbooks that scale with the company.

Palm is a remote-first company, with team members across . We value flexibility and believe the best work often happens outside the office.
That said, this role is part of our core team. To build playbooks, collaborate closely, and support each other in a high-growth environment, we’ll have regular in-person sessions (with founders, product, and engineering). We’ll work together to determine the right cadence that supports flexibility.
Our wish list
Must-haves
- 4+ years in:
- a customer-facing technical role (solutions engineering, implementation manager, technical account manager, forward deployed engineer)
- a data analyst or data scientist role
- a consulting or banking role
- Proven ability to run onboarding, workshops, and live troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
- High sense of ownership; thrives in a 0→1 environment.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- You must have previous exposure to some of the below:
- SQL or BI tooling experience
- Data Analysis, think in python or R
- AI Tooling, you’ve probably tinkered with Claude, Lovable, Prompt Engineering, n8n or Cursor
Nice-to-haves
- Prior “first hire” or early-stage startup experience.
- Background in enterprise SaaS, fintech, or data-driven products.
- Some exposure to Finance topics & workflows - whether accounting, FP&A or treasury.
- Familiarity with reporting, forecasting, and implementation metrics.
- Experience designing customer success or solutions playbooks.
